A Wandering Lestat

Having made his way out of the tower undetected, Lestat has decided to wander the halls of the Mansion properly, and see who he can meet along. He whistles a tune mindlessly to himself, hands shoved in his pockets and looks at everything with childish curiosity

"Hey, Lestat!" Sweeney jogs a few paces to catch up and gives him a friendly thump on the back. "How ya been, man?"

Lestat blinks at Sweeney for a few moments before grinning widely. "I've been well, thank you! This is wonderful, the first person I meet knows me! And what is your name?"

Sweeney blinks right back. "Forgotten your old pal Mad Sweeney, have you? How much have you been drinking, old fella?"

"Not forgotten intentionally, I'm sure. But it seems that I've suffered some sort of amnesia. Can't remember anything at all. David has been taking care of me but... I decided to wander around a bit, see if I couldn't remember something on my own, oui?" he winks mischievously. "It's terribly boring to be stuck in a tower day and night, you know."

Having left Lilli in Helena Landless' care for the time being (because we need not confuse Lestat with that, yet), Nicki is out for a bit of a stroll. He smiles and kisses Lestat's cheek, "Hello, darling."

This actually quite surprises him, and he stares at Nicki blankly for a few moments, before flushing quickly. "H-hello yourself, I'm guessing you know me as well then?" he smiles, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. It was hard not to notice how very attractive Nicki is, and he was trying not to ogle him openly.

"Of course I know you, Lestat." He frowned slightly, "I live with you, after all. What's the matter with you today?"

His eyes widen and he flushes even more. "I... I live with you? Don't I... don't I live with David? Oh my... this is confusing..." He closes his eyes, rubbing his temple, beginning to understand why it might have been best to wait for David before venturing out on his own.

[ayrie_spirit]

Ariel is wandering through the mansion as he usually is, when he sees Lestat. He notices that something is odd about him, though he can't put his finger on just what it is yet. He quietly tags along, lurking nearby but not making his presence overtly known. For now he'll just keep quiet and see what trouble Lestat's gotten himself into.

He continues to wander around this hall and that, getting himself lost very quickly. "Merde... where did I take my last turn?"

Lestat turns around quickly and frowns. "Ah bien, I suppose there must be some door out of here, perhaps then I can find my way back in. Yes, that's what I'll do."

Lestat will hear music faintly coming from a hallway that will probably eventually lead back to the tower. Ariel's starting to guess what's going on, and figures that this will either announce his presence if Lestat remembers, or at least lead him back to familiar ground if not.

Lestat perks his head up to hear the music and follows it, enchanted, until he reaches the entrance to teh tower. Frowning, he shakes his head. "No, it's not time to go back there yet. I want to look around first. I can be back before David arrives," he giggles mischievously and promptly turns around, heading back in the opposite direction.

*she passes him in one of the hallways, hardly an unnoticable figure, with the coins on her sash chinking and Djali following her. She smiles at him in a friendly manner*

He sees her and bows graciously, offering her a friendly smile. "Bonjour, madamoiselle."

[gypsysorceress]

*She's not exactly a lady used to curtseying, so she doesn't, but she says in reply* Bonjour, monsieur. *she hasn't talked to all that many people here, so she starts a conversation* You seem to be in quite a good mood. I am glad that your fortunes are pleasant.

[devilish_prince]

"I -am- in a good mood as a matter of fact. I've been holed up for the last couple days, and I thought it was about time for a bit of fresh air. I don't believe we've met, but that doesn't mean much in my state of things," he laughs. "Lestat de Lioncourt, at your service."

Ken does notice him looking different and frowns slightly before speaking, "Lestat...?"

Lestat whips his head around and sees Ken, smiling innocently. "... yes?"

"Are you alright?"

[devilish_prince]

"Bien, as well as I can be, I suppose," he replies amiably. "And do you know me as well then? Forgive me if I don't remember you. Apparently I don't remember anything!"

He shrugs helplessly and laughs.
