The line gone! The line gone! Never, never, never to return!

1 more dose of antibiotics, 1 more shower while being super careful, 1 more day of taking care of a line. It's gone at 2:30 this afternoon!!!!

I had the line placed today. So far I'm very pleased. It's really low, so I should be able to hide it completely. And it doesn't hurt too much (though the fact that I still have pain meds in my system might have something to do with that). Ok, I'm sore and tired, so I'm gonna go lay back down ( Read more... )

Ok, so I've got tons of betadine swabs and sterile gloves in my piles of excess sterile dressing kits, and there's a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet and a leather belt in my closet. Between the two, I can pull this line tonight and actually get some sleep, right?

Ok, so this was going to just be an update, but it has quickly turned into a whine-fest for Miss Lissa. Please ignore for the most part. Life is in general phenominal; I've just had a lousy couple of days and want to complain about it all. ( The whiniest post ever )
