So, I’m still not done copying all of my music from CD to iTunes (I really dislike the term “ripping”, so I tend to go out of my way to avoid it), but at least I’m getting close. However, a startling fact occurred to me as I was loading the most recent disk into my PC

I think it's great you have so much music. If you want some background music going on, you don't have to worry about getting sick of your playlist since there's so much variety.

I only have 64 hours worth of music. And some of it I don't like, so I delete some every once in awhile.

I don't think he'd appreciate coming up here on Friday to discover I'd given his cookies, chips and ice cream away. I'll just have to employ a bit more restraint, I think. :p

In other news, I've never been so glad that I don't download music illegally. I don't think one iPod would be enough in that case.

I have decidedly less on my Zen tho (I've removed soundtracks from the Zen as the background noise of public transport/my car drowns out so much of it).

Speaking of MP3 players, I think I'm the only person I know (apart from John) who has resisted Apple in all it's forms. It got to the point where I couldn't install my Zen software without un-installing Apple QuickTime (it's a conspiracy I tells thee).

I have no doubt. I only resisted a little when they installed the microchip in my head. So sad.

You know, that makes me wonder how much playtime my music adds up to. Hmmm...I don't have and ipod, though, or any other mp3 player. *shrug*

I don't either...yet. But I did move everything over to iTunes to make life easier when I do. I can't help feeling that it will probably backfire though.
