It seems to me that The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka is riddled with parasites. I immediately disliked Gregor's family for putting all the burden on his shoulders. Not only did they rely on him to pay off their debt, but to provide for the family. Today I set up my computer so I could work at home. Well, I can't really do my job as receptionist, but my manager gave me an assignment that I can work on. Pretty much what I'm doing is making a letter for every load that we did not receive paperwork for.
