In the posts following this announcement, the temperatures get cool and dark clouds roll in, leading to storms with fierce downpours and lightning in the sky. The power goes in an out a few times before giving out across the entire city.

It was recently determined that a) even though they can't read the language, numbers in this language are the same as ours and b) the year the place was abandoned (and therefore the date on what would've been any recent papers or anything) was 1986.

Hope that's alright for everyone -- it seemed worth establishing.
