I love reading your book recs and have picked up several on your recommendation. I have a couple of book recs for you

I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, so I have read Good Omens several times, it's an hilarious book! And I have the book on the Dust Bowl too, although I've not read it yet - it's on the list!

I've heard amazing things about Maus, although I'm not a comic book person, however good it might be, sadly. Somehow it just doesn't satisfy the 'reading' requirement for my brain, maybe I find the pictures distracting, who knows!

Ooh, you should definitely give The Mists of Avalon a try. There's a whole bunch in the Avalon series, although The Mists of Avalon was the first, and the rest quite frankly are just trying to cash in on and perpetuate the success of the first, if you ask me, and they weren't even all written by MZB.

I haven't read any of the others yet (although Jane Eyre is on my list!), but Gone with the Wind is one of my favourites too :)
