[Silence comes from the other end, horrified and choking. He knows what that was. That was a dream. Just a dream. A nightmare. But it's come all too soon on the heels of another, a dream that wasn't a dream, but a memory. A dream...

...where he killed.

The silence is broken by a strangled breath.]

Z-Zelos?

[demonspear]

[Sorry, Lloyd. Zelos stays silent. He's still trying to get his mind together after that long dream and...he's really not sure what to say to Lloyd right now. Anything that's gonna come out of his mouth is gonna send Lloyd overboard.]

[Lloyd doesn't want silence. He wants Zelos to laugh and tell him he's an idiot, that he shouldn't take dreams like that seriously. When it doesn't come, he tries to laugh himself. Anything to fill up Zelos's silence.

It... doesn't come out well.]

H-heh. That was a crazy dream... wasn't it?

[Wasn't it?

Anxiety fills his heart as he searches Zelos's face.]

[There's a long pause before Zelos speaks again, clearing his throat.]

..We need to talk.

[…It was horrible. That was the best way she could’ve put it. To see him die - sure, she disliked him sometimes, but.

She never wanted to see him die.]

...Zelos. [Her voice comes out barely in a whisper--]

[Nope, she’s going to get a hold of herself. Right now. So she takes a deep breath, and although there are tears in her eyes-

[He wasn't going to say anything but her yelling made him come back to his senses.]

That dream...

[No she's not going to freak out about it.]

It was...just a dream, right? Right?

[...... He's silent. What could he say? He was told that he was supposed to be dead but still, seeing it was a different story. What was going on though?? Zelos definitely was alive back in his time!]

Zelos... A-Are you okay?

[He doesn't say anything else for the moment. What could he say after something like that? He knows he's not but still-]

Yeah. [Kind of.] Watching myself bleed to death just isn't something I wanna see.

[Having to watch yourself die period is never something that you'd want to see. Almost reminds him of his own 'dying nightmare'...]

... O-Or experience.

[There's no way someone could dream up a situation like that with that much detail into it. It still doesn't make sense though...]

[Zelos kind of chuckled.] Yeah, no kidding. Did it gross you out?

[He's trying to get over the feeling of wanting to die that the dream had given him. Mithos, wanting to die? Ridiculous. Unlike the pathetic Chosen of Tethe'alla, Mithos planned to keep going and make Martel's dream a reality.]
