I bought one of those Seal-A-Meal vacuum food savers a few weeks ago when they were selling them on Woot.com and I'm having a blast with it. I want to go buy more freezer things just so I can use it! LOL! -
Ugh.
They say you turn into your parents when you get older. I just took a step in that direction. After living with wood & tile floors for the past 2 years I've conceded defeat that my upright vacuum and dry mop isn't cutting it. I was in the soap section of the store today and got a whiff of something that brought back a happy memory. My grandmother used to have her own apartment when I was growing up since my grandfather died when I was quite young. I used to spend a lot of time there and probably the bulk of my happy childhood memories come from staying at her place. ( Read more... ) -

An old friend from high school is in a jam and asked for monetary help. He has gainful employment but his car took a major dump and unless he can get it fixed he can't get to work. He would be good for repayments, but it sure is a lot of money. $1k ( Read more... ) -

China was awesome, I'll post more about it when I feel more human. I caught a head cold in Hong Kong (luckily this was at the END of the two weeks) and I also feel like I've been chain smoking for 2 weeks from the amount of pollution and the fact that smokers can still smoke pretty much anywhere ( Read more... ) -
Hello from Shanghai
Just a quick post, I finally found wifi access in China. Beijing was dirty but the historical sites were awesome, Shanghai is just full of win, I really like this city. Today it's off to Hong Kong.
It's sad but I miss my cat!

Well, it was almost over.
I got my car back but I need to take it back to the shop. The hood is still pushed slightly to the side (I didn't notice it yesterday when I picked it up) and it's handling rather choppy. *sigh* -
