I used the trial version of CS for a month or so and it's the same as you would in any graphics program. You download the file from the website and unzip it using WinZip or some other program. Next you open the unzipped file and find the text icon. Next open up your fonts list by going to control panel and looking for Fonts. It's a big folder with an A on it. Open it up. It should be a list of all your fonts. Go back to the unzipped font folder and find the text icon. Drag that icon into your fonts folder and voila! you have the font. Hope that helped!
meming this too! Thanks tons =) Hmms a little question though. How do you duplicate yr base and why is it necessary? Sorry abt the silly question. I'm new to Photoshop =P
Probably really late on this, but there's two ways you can duplicate your base. You can drag the layer down to the little icon at the bottom of your layers box that looks like a sheet of paper with the corner folded up, or you could go to Layer > Duplicate Layer. I'm not sure what the purpose of it is, but by setting the duplicated layer to different blending modes, it gives your image different effects.
