[He gives an enthused hug back, lifting her off the ground and twirling the redhead about once before setting her down again.]
I promised ya a show, didn't I?!
[Gurren meanwhile, seems to finally register that he's evolved again. For the slightly confused Typhlosion, the ground seems a lot further away than it used to be -it's almost dizzying. When the Larvitar makes its way to him, he curiously pats its head, as if not quite sure what to do with admiration coming from a non-human source.]
[The being picked up and twirled is a bit of a surprise, but a pleasant one! It takes her a second to regain her balance when she hits the ground, a hand on Kamina's shoulder to help]
You certainly didn't disappoint.
[Meanwhile, Larvitar just continues staring at Typhlosion.
[He offers her his usual cocky smile as she steadies herself on him.]
Bet it gets ya all kinds of worked up for yer shot at this too, huh?
[Gurren, still not-quite realizing that he's a rather large Pokémon now immediately goes skittering for his trainer. This kind of attention feels awkward.
Kamina catches sight of his partner rushing towards him at full speed and immediately turns to gesture for the Typhlosion to stop.]
Oi! Oi Gurren! Wait a sec!
[He doesn't listen as he tries to skitter back up onto Kamina's shoulder -knocking the two over with a crash and sending up a comical cloud of dust. When the cloud subsides, both trainer and Pokémon can be seen in a haphazard heap, suffering from that face-palm-inducing 'swirly-eyed syndrome'.]
[He gives a bow, making a point to flare his cape out behind him.]
That was one helluva show, wasn't it?!
[Surprisingly, Gurren seems to be a little banged up, but generally looks like he's doing fine now. A little confused with Yoko's Larvitar staring at him though.]
Oh hell yeah! Me, Gurren an Aqua Man have been through a ton of stuff to get to just this fight! So now we gotta start workin' toward the next gym -we'll head out once everyone's done in Violet!
[Gurren meanwhile seems to be shifting around a little. The size difference between Cyndaquil and Quilava wasn't too big, but he's gone now from being able to drape across his trainer's shoulders like a mantle to now being almost as tall as him. The poor Volcano-type looks almost as confused as the kid that just found he out-grew his tricycle.]
We're really close to Cherrygrove. I don't know where his friend is. [Him and Jango are the best planners evar.] . . I hope he doesn't expect us to go all the way to New Bark town.

That was awesome!
[Her Larvitar waddles over to Kamina's Typhlosion and stares at him, quietly, with an obviously awe-struck expression.]

[Although good lord, how much damage can one Pokemon take? She's giving that Typhlosion a worried glance, trying to gauge just how injured it is.]

It truly was something. You must have worked very hard.
[And hey, a healthy Pokemon is a good thing. A few Potions and he should be up to speed, right?]
