[He gives an enthused hug back, lifting her off the ground and twirling the redhead about once before setting her down again.]
I promised ya a show, didn't I?!
[Gurren meanwhile, seems to finally register that he's evolved again. For the slightly confused Typhlosion, the ground seems a lot further away than it used to be -it's almost dizzying. When the Larvitar makes its way to him, he curiously pats its head, as if not quite sure what to do with admiration coming from a non-human source.]
[The being picked up and twirled is a bit of a surprise, but a pleasant one! It takes her a second to regain her balance when she hits the ground, a hand on Kamina's shoulder to help]
You certainly didn't disappoint.
[Meanwhile, Larvitar just continues staring at Typhlosion.
[He offers her his usual cocky smile as she steadies herself on him.]
Bet it gets ya all kinds of worked up for yer shot at this too, huh?
[Gurren, still not-quite realizing that he's a rather large Pokémon now immediately goes skittering for his trainer. This kind of attention feels awkward.
Kamina catches sight of his partner rushing towards him at full speed and immediately turns to gesture for the Typhlosion to stop.]
Oi! Oi Gurren! Wait a sec!
[He doesn't listen as he tries to skitter back up onto Kamina's shoulder -knocking the two over with a crash and sending up a comical cloud of dust. When the cloud subsides, both trainer and Pokémon can be seen in a haphazard heap, suffering from that face-palm-inducing 'swirly-eyed syndrome'.]
[Yoko watches the whole thing transpire with a concerned look on her face. As the dust settles, Yoko brings a hand to her mouth and giggles.
Larvitar waddles over to her trainer's side, looking slightly disheartened at the fact that Gurren had run away from her like that. Yoko looks down at her, making perfectly-timed eye contact as Yoko shrugs.]
[The trainer and pokémon lay there for a good couple minutes, completely dazed by the Typhlosion's trip and fumble. With a somewhat anti-climatic cough, Kamina pushes his partner off him as he clamors to his feet.]
Oi buddy, yer not as tiny as ya were. Ya ain't gonna fit on my shoulders like that.
[Gurren makes a mildly disappointed sound as he stands up.]
Eh, look at it this way. Ya get yer own seat at the table now!
[If Yoko ever wanted to know how Kamina would've reacted to having a large dog as a pet or something like that, here's her answer.]
[Larvitar doesn't back down when he pats her head--standing her ground and even sniffing his hand as he pulls it away. Yoko nods in agreement with Kamina.]
Don't worry about it. He'll come to admire your strength as well.
[Yoko stands up as well, smirking.]
Yeah? When did you decide that you liked looking at girls? [Thinking that he's always been like that.]

[He didn't quite get what she was so riled up about, but he just chalked it up to things being pretty normal between them. She was always pretty funny when worked up over something he said or did.]
That was awesome!
[Her Larvitar waddles over to Kamina's Typhlosion and stares at him, quietly, with an obviously awe-struck expression.]

[Yoko crouches down on her haunches, giving Larvitar a few head-scratches, which makes her feel slightly better after being "rejected".]
But that's all right. She has such an affinity for the ground that I don't think she'd really like being picked up.

Don't worry about him so much. Big as he is, Gurren's still a kid an thinks girls are weird.
[Giving the rock skin pokémon a reassuring pat on the head, he then stands up and stretches idly.]
All us guys hit a point though when girls are suddenly fun to look at.
[Foot in mouth? Check.]

Think when I hit Simon's age -I went runnin' by a girl in such a hurry, the wind tryin' to keep up with me blew her skirt up.
It was then that I realized that a man's job is to see a cute girl without clothes!
[His tone turns to grumbling.]
Then dumb bitch nailed me in the face with a rock when I stopped to look...

Larvitar shrugs it off and waddles in the direction of the exit, in the mood to find a yummy patch of dirt to munch on.]
Ah...we should probably leave. [Yoko follows Larvitar out.] I think we've stayed our welcome here, don't you?
