My family, my LJ friends (thanks for accepting me), and, of course, fic/fanfic!

I would like to register for a writing class.  Will I?  The odds are overwhelmingly against it although I will try.  

I wish I could, but in my opinion, life is just too short to waste it ranting, and it hardly ever changes anything!

Hunger.

Definitely A Christmas Story.  Gotta love Ralphie and his Red Ryder BB gun!

Forrest Gump, Lonesome Dove, Fried Green Tomatoes to name only a few.  I cry for everything including Kleenex commercials!

Definitely getting up early!  My question is, when will they develop an allergy shot for that?

Lilacs because they remind me of my childhood spent in my grandmother's yard and of spring, the promise of new life and sometimes if we're lucky, new beginnings.

Failing my children.  I know they have to make their own path on this journey, but I also know they look to me for guidance occasionally.  That is a huge responsibility, and I just don't want to fail them.

So today was a normal work day.  I work in the health field, ophthalmology to be exact.  It's eyes all day every day.  Part of the normal eye work-up is to check the pressure in the eyes mainly to make sure the pressure is okay and there is no sign of glaucoma.  My job entails going in to see each patient with the doctor so I can input all of his ( Read more... )
