It's been a while...
It sure has been a while since I last posted here. Yes, I am aware that this is the third time this year I've posted. What can I say? I've been busy. In fact, the last two years have been busy. Crazy, I know...
So it's New Year's Day. It's 21 degrees outside with a wind chill of 8, which means it's butt cold (and probably as bad as it was last night.) And yet, I want to go out... in the freezing cold weather. I really don't want to spend today cooped up in my apartment.
I'm nutty... yes I know. -

Heading out in a little while to meet with V, so we can go hang in the Village for NYE. Hopefully it'll be a fun evening, with lots of laughs and meeting new people.

Not the best way to spend a part of my vacation...
For the past two years, I've taken the days between Christmas and New Year's off from work (because I'm nifty like that, in terms of budgeting my vacation days.) And for the past two years, I've spent Christmas with my family and then skip out of town on the 27th/28th and don't return until January 1st.
