How d'ya do all that normal face-related stuff? Like seeing or eating?

None of that is your concern, child.

Healing, of course. Given the dangers we tend to face, it comes in handy quite often.

Healing can only do so much. Even if wounds heal, it is likely to only be temporary. As is all things, such as death.

[Despite his words, his tone doesn't sound aggressive or even argumentative. Just playing Devil's Advocate here.]

It can still be vital in combat situations. All the offensive power in the world can't help you if you're too wounded to use it. Besides...temporary or not here, dying has its own issues. I'd rather avoid them.

Indeed. I have not known anyone who could perform healing magic. It has been many decades since I saw pure magic being performed. [Which makes him hesitant. Magic depends so much on natural potential and he doesn't quite have it.] All things do have a price I suppose. Your outlook is welcomed.

Does there need to be a spirit for darkness?

I agree. Order does need to exist for there to be balanced. With light there is always dark. Good with evil. Yet these spirits do not control the order of this world.

[thanks for not being helpful at all]

Wh... What? [So he really isn't Hazama? And more than that... he was from that long ago? A century... one hundred years.]

Mr. Hakumen, sir... if Kazuma isn't Terumi, then why does he look exactly like him?

[SIGH questions.]

Is it really so important for you to know?

It makes no sense to me. If it was a century ago, wouldn't that mean it was during the Dark War? If Terumi was one of the Six Heroes, then...

[see noel can be smart too]

[...A sigh.]

Very well, I will give you further explanation. Kazuma Kval is a vessel.

[Tsubaki met him too? How many people ran into that kid.]

Indeed. The NOL does not even yet exist from his point in time.

[all the people]

Hakumen, sir... Does this mean he has no relation to Captain Hazama whatsoever? Does it mean he can be trusted?

[...]

He does not know who your captain is. Whether you trust him or not is up to you. Whatever the case, he is already dead in our present day.

[Sorry Tsubaki. He just doesn't want you to get involved in things that could end up hurting you.]
