How many other words can you think of that are compound words when they are nouns: feedback, but two words when they are verbs: to feed back?

Wow you've really got me thinking on this one. The only word that pops into my mind is jumpstart but I don't think that could be used as a noun in any sentence could it?

Sure. You could have a jumpstart on someone, i.e., begin something first.

That's a good one.

Alright, after seen some other examples that were correct, and consulting an online dictionary, I figured out what was going on--I really wasn't aware certain words that are lumped together but NOT hypenated are listed as a single entry in the dictionary.

Such as:

Throwback / throw back

Thanks for sharing this little mind tease.

LOL
That's interesting >O
Lemme think...

- pinpoint = pin / point
- spotlight = spot / light
- typeface = type /face

Nuff said ;)

Lol! What's "type face"?! I know what it is as a noun, but I am guessing that while you can...erm...oh...actually, I think pinpoint and spotlight as verbs are still one word. "We're going to spotlight her so she can be seen," not "We're going to spot light her so she can be seen."

Lol! My comment hardly makes sense. Good luck deciphering it! :)

A typeface or simply "face" is a set of types in a particular disegn. LOL Does it makes sense? :)

And yup, I'm still deciphering your comment ;)

Yeah, no, I know what typeface is, but I don't know what it means as a verb, like to "type face" something...oh, wait! Is it to set letters/words, etc. in a particular style...?

Just noticed that you have a mood theme. Please tell me you *just* started using one. Otherwise, I'm gonna feel really oblivious.

But I find it interesting that the "curious" mood basically is just Bree's back. :) I mean, after looking at it more closely, fans of the show can tell what she's doing, but otherwise, I just found it amusing.

*points at you and states the ob(li)vious*

I have had it for a few months...at least. Wait! Didn't you help me set it up?!

I thought you were having problems getting it working, though.
