Thanksgiving was quite interesting, I cooked the turkey this year and it was an interesting experience... I really felt like Ryo-chan when he was cooking a chicken in that one clip! HA HA HA
Bibi_teko, I finished translating Ryo-chan's talking part, sorry for the delay. I hope you enjoy it! (.^o^.)
Ryo-chan's talking part in ザ少年倶楽部 (Theme: プライド)
Ryo chan: Umm, right now, I would like to talk a little. Well, this time's theme is pride. The reason that I picked this theme is, well, I've been working ever since I was a little kid, singing and stuff. There may have been a part of me that was sort of full of myself.
How do I say this? I was prideful. I used to be like that, but this year, around January, when I performed in Koichi-kun's Shock, I found myself unable to do anything. I really felt mortified.
Imai Tsubasa-kun was also performing because we were doing double-cast. If asked whether I consider him a rival, well, I really haven't become great enough to call him my rival. So, while I felt completely helpless, everything that I've done up until then, all that I had confidence in, I threw away, hoping that then I could take on anything.
Basically, what I want to say is that having pride may be a good thing but I would like everyone to have the strength to throw away his or her pride as well. That's it.
亮ちゃん、とっても良い事を言うね。亮ちゃんはやっぱすごい。益々好きになっちゃうよ♥
By the way, I noticed that a lot of people are still talking about the battle between Ryo-chan and Ueda-kun. So many people say that Ryo-chan was so mean and cruel but seriously, Ueda wasn't very nice to Ryo-chan either, saying stuff like, "Nishikido-kun is the kind of adult I never want to be like." Anyways, then, I heard someone mention that Ryo-chan's apology letter in Shounen Club was evil because he said that Ueda had a "little defenseless heart." Umm... I'm really confused because I don't know where they got that? I translated the letter that Ryo-chan wrote and read to KAT-TUN's Ueda-kun and Ryo-chan said no such thing. Is everyone talking about a different letter that I don't know about? Can someone enlighten me?
Ryo-chan's letter to Ueda in ザ少年倶楽部 (Theme: バトル)
Dear Ueda Tatsuya-sama,
When I recall the first time we met, I think that it was a few years back when we were both dancing behind our senpai's backs in a concert. At that time I found myself thinking, "What's up with this skinny and dark (skin color) guy?" That was my very first impression of you. In those days, I guess we were sort of playing around.
As time passed by, we started to lose the opportunity to see each other, and before I knew it, you were giving your all as KAT-TUN's "U." However, the moment that I saw you with your blonde hair and white complexion, a very extreme change from last time, I thought to myself, "What exactly does this child want to be?" It was here at Osaka that I expressed those feelings. As a result, a clause was involuntarily created: When it comes to The Shounen Club, it's Nishikido vs. Ueda. Strangely, I found myself taking part in it. Unable to think of anything, I hurt you with my wicked tongue. I'm sorry.
Until recently, we were working together in Osaka's stage show, Dream Boy. I enjoyed the short time we got to spend together. From now on, let's continue to get along, just the right amount. I'm sorry for taking up a lot of your time!
Thank you,
Nishikido Ryo
Ryo-chan's letter is not mean. Maybe I'm clouded by affection for Ryo-chan and I can't see his evil side; that's a possibility. Honestly, if he were as mean as everyone else claims, I would definitely not like him. Teshi said that he used to be scared of Ryo-chan because he seemed so mean but as he got to know him better, he found out that Ryo-chan is really kind-hearted. When NEWS was riding in a car together, there were not enough seats so Ryo-chan gave his seat up to Teshi. Awww... Ryo-chan I will defend you from anyone who says bad stuff about you. (.^o^.)
Edit: I forgot to mention that I don't mean to offend any Ueda fans. I personally am not an Ueda fan but I don't hate him in anyway. I'm just trying to stick up for Ryo-chan, that's all. Ryo-chan and Ueda-kun have mended their bridges, the battle is over. So, hopefully Ueda fans and Ryo-chan fans can do the same. It would make Ryo-chan and Ueda-kun happy. (.^o^.)
Edit 2: I made a stupid mistake, "garigari" is "skinny." Fixed it. (.^-^.)
