Glorious food!
I've been inspired to bake recently and I've decided to share my yummies. Yesterday I made a two layer chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and today I made homemade truffles. Tomorrow I want to make tomato basil bread and other breads. Matt still won't tell me what he wants for his birthday..so if he doesn't specify he's getting something with ( Read more... ) -
Hm.
I think I've decided to stop using LJ and stick to blogger. I've been using LJ for around 8 years..it's time for a change. I don't want to have a private journal anymore. I want something my family can see for photos, thoughts, updates, etc.

Whooooooa.
My city is wrecked after hurricane force winds ripped through the surrounding area. Trees were uprooted, thrown, and 90% of Duke Energy's customers are without power. We have power, obviously. But this is the only traffic light that works. We drove 45 minutes around town to get food and gas and we couldn't find one place that was open. The only ( Read more... ) -
Painting with light.
I'm getting pretty good at this now so I'm going to post a couple shots with you. Matt hates having his photo taken, but he better get used to it because I'm going to perfect this. Light painting is where you have a long exposer set in complete darkness and you shine different lights to paint what you want. Here you go.

I checked the front page of Capturecincinnati.com and nearly all of my photos are featured on the front page. Hell yes! The sad thing is that my most popular photo is the one of myself. Seriously? Okay as long as I get published.
