I woke up a little before my alarm and threw clothes in the dryer. Went back to sleep for a little while.

I'm a little worried about my dad. He and his wife were on a trip, and he was posting "trip reports," but he suddenly stopped.

IMO, your therapist is wise. I've heard it said, just as a general rule, that after a death of a close relative, it's wise not to make major life changes for a while. I guess the theory is that intense grief can color your judgment and overwhelm you when making those decisions.

EDIT: btw - I've had a massage that hurt because they pressed too hard. But - after it was over, I was more relaxed. I think a good massage therapist knows where the pressure points are. Maybe more pressure releases stress lodged inside joints and muscles.

The massage seemed to help.

My therapist was really encouraging me to stay in Illinois. I don't know if it's because I'll continue to be a client then. (Maybe I'm being a bit cynical. I do like her.)

I agree with sweetmeow. You have a lot to deal with right now, and the house decision can wait. I really like the idea of making the Urbana house feel more like your mom's house.

Yeah, now I'm thinking that probably is the way to go. I wonder how long it'll take for the estate to get settled so that I could buy a house in Urbana.

You have a lot to deal with, you need to take care of yourself first. Everything else can wait
