Got up early and got my hair cut. And then I dropped off the dead printer and monitor for recycling after getting a little confused as to where to go. And the recycling didn't cost me anything! And the printer and monitor are out of my kitchen!

It sounds like a busy day.

I enjoy your thoughts about travel. My travels have been a couple of road trips in the past five years. I love road trips. I'm feeling like I don't care to fly anytime soon. It was a hassle before Covid - now it feel too dangerous before and after the flying part.

I'd wear a mask in the airport and flying. But the tripod would be a few months away if I can pull it off at all. I still need to move first.

I have no vested interest in either destination, but just to let you know, traffic in both cities is horrible in my experience, but DC has a much better public transportation system. I don't know if you like baseball at all. but Seattle has a nice ballpark.

I've used the subway in DC and yes, it was excellent. I was able to get from a far flung town in Maryland to the heart of DC.

Yay for free recycling! Getting rid of bulky items is made needlessly difficult, so glad you managed to find a good way to get rid of your stuff.

My son loves Airbnb. I prefer hotels, especially if they have a hot breakfast.

I prefer hotels, but like to save money using Airbnbs. However, I heard that some people who run Airbnbs in popular places choose the person who will pay the most and cancel the others without warning.
