Hmm. Houses are cheaper in Metarie, LA than New Orleans proper, and there's a bus that goes to New Orleans from there, taking 45 minutes. Driving is 15 minutes, and there's a parking lot at the edge of the French Quarter. Something to think about. Metarie also has a lakefront trail, which I'd like. Building apps has always sounded difficult to me. I do know that several friends have done it and managed to get their apps for sale on Apple.

The community college program that I'm interested in has classes in both Apple and Android. I think that I'm going to do it, but I need to find out if they'll take my programming classes at my current college in lieu of their intro class.

I lived in Metaire for a short while as a teenager. Wasn't impressed, but then, I was a teenager, in a bad family situation, and it was the '70's. I'm sure it not the same as it was45 years ago.
