I got a birthday present from my godmother today. It's this really fancy, black leather, personal organiser diary. Complete with a very fancy little silver pen.
It's so GROWN UP! I'm sitting here, stroking it and giggling and can't believe how very grown up that diary looks. Tehehe.

Had another fire alarm this morning, third one so far. Well, third day of fire alarm anyway. Of which only the first (Wednesday, 6.00 am) was practice, and what practice it was, 17 floors down in the Tower, woohoo. Someone just rang the doorbell and when I went to answer there was a man at the door, holding two knifes. Dude.
"The knife sharpener is here today."
I declined and shut the door. Geez.

I was entirely not excited, but still had a very nice day. In the end nobody turned up, but whatever, we had dinner together, and yes, I made my own cake, hehe. Got gorgeous flowers and earrings from my mom, and three books from the step. My godmother will come by sometime next week to make up for it, though she did have a bad cold, so that's fine ( Read more... )

I have been accepted to the HU here in Berlin and to the University of Manchester, where I really want to go. So while I don't know my grades yet, I am very, very happy.
