Hey! I've seen a Few of these Movies too! chatchien September 4 2016, 18:57:03 UTC
the studio wanted to pay Kathryn Hahn less than Kunis, Bell, Applegate and Smith since in their opinions she didn’t have the same popularity. Todd says that she and the other women banded together to ensure Hahn was given equal pay.

Yessssssss! Now this is what I want to see happen all the time in Hollywood!

And I've read a few articles that say that it is the "Women's" movies that make the greater profits for studios, not the "Little Men Boy" movies.

Because people are hungry for real, rich stories. I love comic book and action films, but I do miss great dramas and stories with fully fleshed out characters. Even the actors who are taking their huge paydays from franchise films say that miss real stories.

I think that RE-DO films are mostly overrated although a few do turn out better than the original or give a new perspective on the film's subject matter. Of course, right now, I can't think of any to use as examples. Lazy Brain! Werq It!

I cannot think of a way, really. And more are coming down the pipeline. A remake of "Splash"? Not that I'm a fan of the original but of any movie to re-do, why that one?

really like and enjoy all the ladies in the film. I am glad that Leslie Jones is finally getting her due here and in the Olympics. F**k the Racist H8tersThe hell that the trolls have put her through is mind-boggling. I can't ( ... )

Hey hey, Two! chatchien September 4 2016, 19:22:07 UTC
I gave up on The Suicide Squad about an hour in. I was willing to let the Egyptians take Manhattan or whatever that town was. All the possibilities that the movie had were wasted or worse, not even considered. Amanda Waller was the only "character" in the film. Everyone else was just makeup and a stunt double. Even Will Smith couldn't charm his way out of this Mess. Although, Joe McKinnon should have gone shirtless for the film and I might have lasted longer. What was Jokey about The Joker? He just looked like a middled aged green haired goth guy with bad teeth and worse gums. Margot Robie was good at playing a 14 year old high school girl who decided to give up organized softball for rebellion and kool aide hair dye. But there should have been more for her, like a character to play, and there wasn't.

This movie was a BIG BORE!

I enjoyed Florence Foster Jenkins. It was just a well done movie on an interesting subject---Art and its Pretensions and Delusions and Essential Truth. Yes, Florence was self-deluded as to her own talent ( ( ... )

The joke was that crybaby Leto complained about his scenes being cut as if The Joker was relevant to the plot. Dude, you have an Oscar, be happy with that.

He just looked like a middled aged green haired goth guy with bad teeth and worse gums. K

And that's a great descriptor of Jared not even in costume.

Unfortunately there's not much there there with Harley except to play off of others and her relationship with the Joker is so, like the kids say, problematic, that if they kept that in there'd be umpteen op-ed pieces about DC hating women. So we get Harley Quinn as Toni Basi in "O Mickey".

but like Darger and The Vivian Girls there was something in her (and his obsession) that spoke to the artists' audiences. I was waiting for the shoe to drop and find out that St. ( ... )

Now THAT is the perfect analogy! for her. Wish that I had thought of that.

That could be the whole plot line, "Two shirtless men in a room". I'll be there opening night!

Just TWO?

Let your libido SOAR (or drown, heh heh) with characters for that film.
