Movies I've Seen...Upcoming Films..
It’s officially summer (yes!) and the summer films have been a mixed bag (poor “Battleship”, “Avengers” heroes must have the power of mind control-a billion in box office?). This weekend saw Pixar’s 16th number one film with “Brave”. But I like to think of all of these films as the appetizers before “The Dark Knight Rises”.

I fear this remake is to the original, what Cruel Intentions was to Dangerous Liaisons. Maybe even worse, I think social media will be dragged into this story "to modernize" it. Like they did in Beastly (yes I saw it and it was bad) when he was ostracised by his peers.
I defenitly will be seeing Taken 2, just love Liam Neeson. His Clint Eastwood quote/imitation about why he did 'Battleship' had me laughing. (around the 4 minute mark)

True. That studio needed the money. Who better than someone would could help bankroll it. He really did pay for it, I beat.

He claimed the tat said "thank you" but it really says his name in Japanese or Mandarin. but the fact that he made that joke shows he's a total jockdouche. I mean, Troy Garity, actor/activist/son of Jane Fonda who doesn't even talk about celebrity, is not frivolous about what he tweets thought Alex was a jerk for comments he made about Los Angeles. When Troy Garity has something ill to say about you, you need to examine yourself and maybe dial it back a notch or ten.
