Supposedly, Tom is directing episode #21. Apparently, he switched with Mairzee Almas, who will now be directing episode #18. The reason is illness, per K-Site. He was sick during the filming of ep #17, and he couldn't prep. And yes, it does appear that ep #20 is extremely Clark-lite. Then again, ep #17, 19 & 20 all seem Clark-lite, and episode #18 is debateable. I don't get it. And I won't say more, because I know you don't like the spoilage stuff.

JDM is hot.

I didn't care for the Oscar's at all. I don't know why they even do musical numbers. They are always so cringe-worthy. And the presenters were on the underwhelming side.

Thanks. Yes, I'm still on the spoiler virgin kick.

I don't understand why they're doing less Clark. If this is the end (hell even if it isn't) it seems they're going to have to rush to resolve his storyline to begin a next chapter or end.

Very. And loves to accessorize. I've never seen that many bangles on a guy since Capt. Jack Sparrow.

I get they wanted to play up Hugh's strengths, but it felt like the Tonys. There's a reason why I don't watch the Tonys.

And the presenters: Jessica Biel? Jack Black? Jennifer Aniston? Horrible. Very lackluster people.

He managed to pull his brother Eric into the crazy. A Rosenbaum production. I wonder if his mom was taping.

You know he forwarded to Julie when they were done. Why does Eric look like he's older than Michael?

Were the props, the wig, boa and bra, his own personal items, or did he borrow them from someone?

We know Michael, those are his. Now whether they're from his conquests or from his own wardrobe is the real question.

sean penn's speech was pretty awesome. he seemed to be in a very good mood last night; i saw a couple shots of him smiling and laughing:) i did have the tv on mute most of the time. why the hell was jessica biehl there, wearing a blanket for a dress?
i love musicals but i just thought what they did seemed out of place. it did seem like the grammy's and tony's combined.

sean penn's speech was pretty awesome. he seemed to be in a very good mood last night;

It was a tremendous speech and I think his feelings about the importance of Harvey Milk's story and what is going on with Prop 8 and how the GLBT community is still facing discrimination made him less toolish. This wasn't a night for him to be anti-establishment (because normally he doesn't do the awards shows when he's nominated).

i saw a couple shots of him smiling and laughing:)

I was surprised at his laughter during the monologue: I thought he'd be stony faced. It's good to see him relaxing. Have you ever seen an old piece on Saturday Night Live where he gives David Spade a tattoo. Even in the piece he was really serious.

why the hell was jessica biehl there, wearing a blanket for a dress?
LOL! The question should be: Why is Jessica Biel there? And why is she wearing a blanket? Because both made no sense. What has she done cinematically to warrant presenting an award and that dress was a mess! Then she changed for the after party and ( ... )

Tom directed Apocalypse last year which was a very Clark centered ep so I guess its possible to have lots of Clark with Tom directing. And I love his directing style and though I hadn't heard he was doing 22 as well, that'd be cool, I think he's wanted to do a finale for a while. I wish they'd just say whats going on with next season.

I watched the Oscars for the first time since leaving L.A. Its so different there, its a much bigger deal and people have oscar parties, I know I had a few, but here, people could give a shit about the Oscars, so it was me half-ass watching it alone, lol.

Hugh really gave it his all, so good for him, the dresses were pretty good I suppose, though Sarah J should give hers back to Holiday Barbie. I didn't watch the end, but i assumed Slumdog would win, which I STILL haven't seen. I cant seem to make myself go, I'll try this weekend, though i'd rather see MILK.

I miss having oscar parties and making oscar cookies and having martinis while making fun of dresses....good times

But it seemed, looking back, that although a Clark centric episode, there wasn't alot of Clark IMO. The main plot was President!Lex, Kara and Brainiac, then we're graced with Suited!Clark for two scenes and Clark meeting Baby Kal and AU Clark.

I think he's wanted to do a finale for a while

Which will be a boon for him creatively to put his own spin on a finale even if it's just a season one, but I hope he can swing the acting and the directing of a big one. He's shown in Apocalypse that he could I guess.

I wish they'd just say whats going on with next season.

Me too! The suspense is killing me because everyone has their own take: Phil MOrris speculated that there's a 70% chance of returning, Ryan Kennedy who played Rokk in "Legion" said he heard they were being renewed. It's all over the place. Then of course if it is renewed what the hell are they going to do in S9?

, but here, people could ( ... )

You know i watched Apocalypse the other day, just because, and I was actually surprised he was in it more than I originally thought, like the running into Chloe, the stuff with Lois (and he threatened Jimmy which was sexy), but a lot of times when people say an ep had little Clark, I usually come away thinking he was in it plenty, i think his hotness just goes a long way, or I don't pay attention to the scenes without him, so it all just blurs together, lol.

the oscars aren't what they used to be, but i felt like they at least tried this year. the only nominated film i saw was Benjamin Button, and Wall-e, The Reader seems really depressing, though i'm sure i'll run across it eventually.

I'm sorry about your computer (you should totally get a mac) i hope it comes back unscathed.

That's right: she was engaged and Lana was married to Pierre Rousseau.

but a lot of times when people say an ep had little Clark, I usually come away thinking he was in it plenty, i think his hotness just goes a long way, or I don't pay attention to the scenes without him, so it all just blurs together, lol.

It's the hotness. It has staying power. It lingers!

the only nominated film i saw was Benjamin Button,

How was it? A friend saw it and her hubby loved it, she thought it was alright, but a bit on the long side. Did Brad Pitt get robbed or did he just do an okay job?

I'm sorry about your computer (you should totally get a mac) i hope it comes back unscathed. Thank you ( ... )

You know, it's actually funny IMO. It's not the mess like "PG Porn". This stuff was actually good. You can see his tat and his muscles....

It took the person I know who went to the rehearsals to break it down to me: Zac, Vanessa, Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried were apart of last years two biggest musicals so that leant itself to the performance.

I thought they were wasted and unncessary and the bit was too long, but that's just me and my Anti-Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens stance.

OK, i have a confession to make, well it just hit me. I don't like Michael Rosenbaum, there, i've said it and I feel cleansed, i can now go on with my life:)

Oh right...HSM...i forget that was in the theaters..they still shouldn't be there, just because well, they suck:)

I will now remove my bored butt from the computer and stop spamming your journal:)

everytime i see zac efron, he's looking more and more like a mannequin: shiny faced and a blank expression, nothing going on in the eyes at all.
