Mondaze...

Just call me the computer slayer.

My home computer is in the shop. I am sans computer. More heartbreaking is that I’m not sure if my files are recoverable. I’m praying for a miracle and that the computer repair guy can salvage it.

There’s been a virus going around the office and I had my flash drive in my boss’ computer, brought it home to open my files and got the same virus he had on his machine. Yes, my computer caught a computer STD from sticking itself in my boss’ computer. His computer is dirty little slut.

My antivirus kicked in and cleaned it (I thought). Shut it down for the night---couldn’t log on the next day. I ran all types of diagnostics to no avail. Called Dell tech support they told me to do the same things I had been doing. Finally they advised me to call the Geek Squad. I had read too many bad things about the Geek Squad and how they lose people’s data and my main objective is to save my data. What really kills me is that I bought a high capacity flash drive to back up my files in case of a crash or some system failure. Do you think I ever did it? I only saved a few pictures and kept putting it off for another date.

I’m a dolt.

*Watched the Oscars all the way through. It helped that I was at a party otherwise I don’t think I’d be able to take it. It was fine. Hugh did an excellent job although I was disappointed by the lack of Hugh: the opening act, that really unnecessary routine with Beyonce (with her lipsyncing behind), Zac, Vanessa, Dominic and Amanda. Great speeches by Sean Penn, Dustin Lance Black and that French guy who directed the short film. I don’t know what he said but he’s very attractive.

The only time I ever wanted to be Beyonce was when she was flush behind Hugh with her hands caressing his thighs. I need to be that close to him.

I loved that they had the past winners naming the nominees of the big actor categories. It’s such an honor.

Death montage sucked! Even if it’s Queen Latifah, why have someone singing over the death montage? Just play music like always. And then the varying degree of close-ups on the names---Paul Newman’s was in the background so you could barely see it. He was Paul Newman! When Sydney Pollock’s name came up several of us in the room applauded. He just seemed like a great guy and as an actor, he was such the perfect everyman.

*SV Rumor Mill: Dawn Ostroff claims she’d like to see another season of SV. Again people are still saying Tom is close to signing-only some minor details have to be worked out. Tom isn’t directing the upcoming episode “Hex” featuring Zantana. The rumor is that he’s directing episode 21 and 22 which are the season’s finale (or series finale). I hope that’s not true because I want to see Clark doing amazing things. I want these episodes to be fully about Clark and push his story to where it needs to be, especially if it is the series finale. Directing is too time consuming and I don’t want there to be a situation where they underwrite Clark because Tom is too busy directing.

*Justin Hartley was seen in Vegas last week drinking beer and doing tequila shots at Dos Caminos in the Palazzo hotel in Vegas.

*Seen around my flist: Michael Rosenbaum adopted a German Shepherd from a pet rescue. And he continues to be a fool with

Uh, I can’t answer those questions about Jared and Jensen’s relationship

What? They still have girlfriends?

Swinging, huh? Papa likes

I remember how it feels to be in between those two

~NKOTB are still doing big things. Their video for “2 in the Morning” has just been released and here are the guys signing their picture at The Palms.

It took me years to confirm this, but I picked the right one in Jonathan. He’s getting sexier and sexier as the years go by.
