The JLA is Timeless...

Without a computer to play on, Saturday found me in a bit of a cleaning jag. I was focused and folding stuff and dusting when I turned it to the Cartoon Network and saw that the Justice League Frontier film was on. I thought, “I’ll watch it for a minute.”

After a few minutes, all cleaning ceased and I sat on the floor enthralled.
It’s not particularly thrilling, but the story (parts origins story/cautionary tale/inspirational) and seeing these legendary Golden Age superheroes in one film was a treat.

Jeremy Sisto as Batman didn’t set my world on fire but here is a compilation of Batman scenes.

The second scene is my favorite. It’s Batman being a tool Batman.

The ending which one would probably have to watch in context of the preceding scenes, but I found it powerful

~Jerkwad, Steven DeKnight was interviewed by ion9. He penned this past Friday’s “Dollhouse”. The interviewer asked him what he thought of the positive reaction to his episode.

Steven: I've been very pleased with the reaction to it. "Relieved" is probably a more accurate description. I'm still recovering over the directing horror of the exploding baby episode I did for Smallville. A low point, to be sure - for me and the audience. I gained a little ground after that with the Justice League episode, and really felt like I took a leap forward with "The Target" for Dollhouse. …

Was “Thirst” prior or post “Justice”? I have a feeling Steven wrote another sucktastic episode after “Justice”.
