Tom directed Apocalypse last year which was a very Clark centered ep so I guess its possible to have lots of Clark with Tom directing.
But it seemed, looking back, that although a Clark centric episode, there wasn't alot of Clark IMO. The main plot was President!Lex, Kara and Brainiac, then we're graced with Suited!Clark for two scenes and Clark meeting Baby Kal and AU Clark.
I think he's wanted to do a finale for a while
Which will be a boon for him creatively to put his own spin on a finale even if it's just a season one, but I hope he can swing the acting and the directing of a big one. He's shown in Apocalypse that he could I guess.
I wish they'd just say whats going on with next season.

The suspense is killing me because everyone has their own take: Phil MOrris speculated that there's a 70% chance of returning, Ryan Kennedy who played Rokk in "Legion" said he heard they were being renewed. It's all over the place. Then of course if it is renewed what the hell are they going to do in S9?
, but here, people could give a shit about the Oscars, so it was me half-ass watching it alone, lol.
But you know what? That's me too, but I had to be cordial and attend. But I'd rather flip back and forth at home then sit around watching it at a party. There was a time when I was all about the Oscars, now I'm very 'meh' about it.
Hugh really gave it his all, so good for him
He really did. I talked to someone who attended the rehearsals for three days and she said in her years of covering the rehearsals only Hugh and Conan O'Brien were the hosts that were fully involved. They worked as hard as anyone else and they put in the hours to make the show good. So Hugh is a showman all around.

That does look like Holiday Barbie! I think I even have a Holiday Barbie wearing that dress: 1998. Did you see Miley Cyrus' disaster? It looked like glittery anaconda skin. It was a wreck.
but i assumed Slumdog would win, which I STILL haven't seen. I cant seem to make myself go, I'll try this weekend, though i'd rather see MILK.
The only Oscar nominated films I've seen across the board is The Dark Knight and Milk. That's it. No "Reader", "Revolutionary Road", "Wall E" "Kung Fu Panda". None of it. I'm down with marginal films like "Never Back Down". My taste has really went down :)
I miss having oscar parties and making oscar cookies and having martinis while making fun of dresses....good times
I must admit, being in a room full of people breaking down celebrities and mocking them ruthlessly and having margaritas was pretty nice.
You know i watched Apocalypse the other day, just because, and I was actually surprised he was in it more than I originally thought, like the running into Chloe, the stuff with Lois (and he threatened Jimmy which was sexy), but a lot of times when people say an ep had little Clark, I usually come away thinking he was in it plenty, i think his hotness just goes a long way, or I don't pay attention to the scenes without him, so it all just blurs together, lol.
the oscars aren't what they used to be, but i felt like they at least tried this year. the only nominated film i saw was Benjamin Button, and Wall-e, The Reader seems really depressing, though i'm sure i'll run across it eventually.

I actually started out on Macs, but my job and school has always PCs so I phased out of it. I wonder if I can even make my way around a Mac anymore.
The guy called me to come see if he has retrieved my files and he did for the most part. I have to resinstall all my programs which is a hardship because I don't remember all I had or I dont' have the install disks for all of them. When he asked me to look at my files he went to another room I'm assuming to give me privacy in looking at all (not many) hardcore *adult* gay images I have on my computer. I should've been embarassed, but really I was more relieved to give a toss.
