Finally have a good rip of Madonna's new album, Hard Candy. It's pretty good. A new direction for her, like each album from her usually is. It has a strong hip-hop vibe, which isn't surprising when you look at the album production credits. Timbaland, The Neptunes, and Danja (who did a great job on Britney's Blackout album) all worked on this album ( Read more... )

Here's Madonna's new single, 4 Minutes, from her upcoming album, Hard Candy. This song rocks so much. Love it. I just knew that a collaboration between Madonna and Timbaland would bear good fruit if it ever happened, and I wasn't wrong. It has a killer beat going on. Can't wait for the album to be released. I've discovered a new British pop singer, Rachel Stevens. I read all these reviews about her most recent album, Come And Get It, and was intrigued enough by what I read to download it. Downloaded The Bravery's two albums yesterday. Really liked their self titled first album. The second one was pretty good too, but the most standout music from them comes from that first album. It is a good mix of rock and electronic beats. Here's some free samples.

I've always been a fan of Sarah Brightman's music. She blends genres that don't usually cohabitate, like pop with classical. From her latest album, Symphony, there is a song that I'm currently hooked on, called Fleurs du Mal. It has this great mix of rock and pop and opera. I really like the melody of it. Here is the other Gundam 00 song I was writing about a few posts ago. It's a great rock song. My favorite song by The Brilliant Green, by far. It sounds like a release Tommy would've done for Tommy Heavenly6, one of Tommy's alter egos which I absolutely loved.
