I haven't talked about BoA in a while. I never really wrote about her latest album, The Face, when it was released earlier this year, but it was quite good. Lately, I've rediscovered Brave, one song in particular from the album that I've been listening to non-stop today. Disturbia
Absolutely love Rihanna's latest single, Disturbia. Just found out about it today when I heard it on a commercial. It's definitely up there with Umbrella as far as catchiness. She's so good at doing these straight up dance club synth pop songs. The beats in this song are just great. Here, have a listen.

It's about time I started to upgrade my old Mac mini a bit. It's been 3 1/2 years since I bought it, and I've been going all this time with just factory specs and an upgrade to Tiger, when it was released. It's so 80s!
Been in the mood for exploring some off my 80s music collection once more, due to the lack of interesting new releases. Have become particularly fixated on the music of Bryan Ferry, former frontman of Roxy Music, who released some pretty good songs of his own during the 80s. Here's a few of my particular faves.

Orange Range

Nabari no Ou
I've been watching a lot of anime this season. It's probably the best season for anime I've seen in some time. I'm currently following five shows. Aikawa Nanase covered
I've heard of Japanese artists covering English songs before, but I've never heard of the reverse ever happening. Today I watched a cover of Aikawa Nanase's excellent song Bye Bye, by somebody called Jennifer Ellison. New music and the lovely Florida weather
Tamaki Nami's new album, Don't Stay, was just released a few days back. I can't say I was keeping up with her releases, but after hearing Brightdown, one of her more recent singles, I could see she's still making good catchy technopop.
