I have been reading some of the articles in the current Wire magazine and in particular about  Laurie Anderson. She has an  album out now with the Kronos Quartet which i would love to get.

I can still recall the sense of otherworldly magic the first time I put her first single (or at least the first I was aware of) on the turntable and listened to it; was even more intense than listening to it on the radio.

The music is pretty cool.
I'm not a fan of spoken word stuff, but the rest was cool. :)
