The other day in the bookstore I bought The Gunslinger. I read my ex's copy a few years back and liked it, though I forgot a lot of it. Rereading it was fun. And I've bought the next book in the Dark Tower series. It's some very intriguing stuff. I'm glad I'm reading more again ( Read more... ) -
Doodle a day
To ease my feelings of inadequacy as an artist, and based on an idea that popped into my head the moment I woke up, I have decided to do my best to do at least one doodle each day. I've finished my story about young Tarynth, and his first truly evil deed. =_= Now I must type and edit! The end will need a lot of editing. Literary problems
I'm reading the sequel to that book I mentioned. =_= And I'm getting bored. I want to know what happens, which makes me stubborn, but nothing seems to be happening. Even reading the last Harry Potter book, and for what they are doing for most of the book (I won't spoil it) was more engaging than this.
My waffles have just dinged. Mmmm maple syrup -
Books!!
I squeal with glee and roll on the floor with joy to remember and begin reading again the Elvenbane books, by Andre Norton & Mercedes Lackey. The elven Lords, ruling over everything, including lesser weak-magic elves and human slaves, the dragons off in the desert with the shining scaley hides...
