 Life after college has been strangely boring.  In one way I'm glad to have completed yet I feel a weird emptiness.  Working forty hours is stressless when that is all you have to do.  It is odd not having huge projects held over you all the time.  I've actually been reading, for myself ( Read more... )

 It is funny how the people you work with become like an extended family.  It is very ironic that I have been real supportive of others in finding new jobs, in helping them build their resumes, in lending out my old laptop for school projects, and just in general being supportive of others going back to school.  The irony comes in because...not one ( Read more... )

It is insane that Columbine was over eight long years ago, yet children who were only 5 or 6 at that time are styling and planning murders in the same fashion.  Perhaps all the media attention that was given about the lives of Harris and Klebold was unnecessary.  I don't think the media truly thinks about the consequences of what they report and ( Read more... )

I went back to Chicago for a long weekend.  It was dreary and full of horrible weather...but it helped me realize that it is one of the top places I want to be after graduation.  There are people I really care about there.  A grad school with professors that I truly admire.  Friends that I can laugh with and one whom I miss.  It is odd to be ( Read more... )
