My co-workers daughter is a second year dental hygenist student taking her board exams in March, and needs vollunteers who need dental cleanings to work on through the MATC in Madison.   This apparently includes x-rays and the works...and she needs some really tough cases as well as some easy ones ( Read more... )

The cynical side of me is trying very hard to not to snicker at the school-girl style giddiness that Obama groupies are feeling today.

I just watched an astounding report that follows a company that is hired to clean out foreclosed homes as quickly as possible.  People leave behind nearly everything as they vacate....and coordination with charities is difficult, so entire households wind up in the landfill.
