The cynical side of me is trying very hard to not to snicker at the school-girl style giddiness that Obama groupies are feeling today.
But as much as I have to roll my eyes at all the Obama-gasms, I have to admit that it is cool to finally see a leader emerge that people can get excited about. I hope he does good things with his new mandate....I'll be cautiously optimistic for awhile.
It was weird listening to the radio last night on the way out to the Annex and hearing the typically shrill and annoying GOP shill Vikki McKenna already talking about Obama's second term in office before the tally was counted to make his first one official!
