Yup, apparently Collins Beach is clothing optional. (why oh why did I do this search at work?!) We were just south of this site. I think.

And yeah, makes no sense to me either. I have not dipped more than a toe into any major bodies of water out here, even in the dead of summer. It's too dang cold!

I biked to Ikea, because that is what you do.

No, that is what YOU do. I just allow the nap to take it's natural course.

I am now craving gyros, though. I miss having a vendor right around the corner from work.

Most of the time I do what we like to call "The Surgical Strike". This entails skipping the maze entirely and just hitting the pertinent portions of the Marketplace (by wily use of the "shortcuts" and blatant "against the flow arrows" travel patterning). Doesn't always work, but usually I can get in and out within 30 minutes or less.

Since I had very limited space, I walked out of there with:
  • tiny anchor screw set
  • felt pads for furniture
  • the smallest Lack shelf imaginable

Next time, maybe I'll grab a bag of frozen meatballs.
