2007. Blam, another year. I agree with Dep, New Year's "Intentions" are more sound than resolutions. I have some, most of them are what they normally are. Consistency, but I'd like to keep improving.

About the whole transferring thing, you have to do it to see if it is right for you. If it is an improvement on what you have had, to see if the school has more to offer you and can carry you where your old school didnt, to see if they can suit your needs more. If not, then you can always come back. Thats not hard at all. What is hard, is getting over the fear that you will be leaving your comfort zone, until you gain your comfort back at UNC. You will have to change your recognition of the school, but trust me, you will ALWAYS(no matter how fruterated you got)have respect for the school who helped you begin your path. Brevard can start off as a stepping stone for some people, a continuation of stepping stones for others, or a full time journey. Whatever you do, KNOW that you can return. But dont be so quick to, be patient, and if they cannot help you, then you know you have open options. Trust me all your friends here will still love and miss you, and we are only a visit away.

I know exactly what you mean about not knowing what you want to do with your life. It's what lead me to pick something that will give me enjoyment, but at the same time will allow me to (I think) be able to come back at things from a different direction at another time if I want to. I hope anyways. I always hope that no one should have to settle for their future, so once your heart decides, go where it takes you

I know this is hard for you and that it's been hard for you for a long time. To tell you the truth I don't know what you're going to do either. Lately I've seen you as a leader. I'm not sure what you're going to do but all I know is that you're going to be and do great things. I love you and I look up to you in so many ways. You are so motivated whether or not you see it. You are so motivated to be great and to do something great, whether or not that is music I'm not sure, but you are so passionate about it. I see you being a composer/teacher/performer/conductor.... you'll do everything. And be amazing at it. You're a beautiful person inside and out and I can't wait to see you!! This semester will be crazy for both of us, but I'm gonna miss you SO much next year!! But I'm rambling. Anyways, I love you and I'll see you on Tuesday. LOVE!

I cannot put into words how all of what you said makes me feel. I guess the best I could do would say loved, flattered, excited but scared, and safe. I am so glad that I have you as a friend, and that we continually seem to understand each other and grow closer. You mean the world to me, and your opinion even more. Thank you so much for all of these words, really.. they have and will help more than you know.
