My former co-worker was diagnosed with cancer almost two months ago. She had been having headaches for years. But they were always diagnosed with migranes. They found tumors throughout her brain. But it was too late... It had spread all over her body ( Read more... )

og I'm so, so sorry *hugs* That's awful. I lost one of my close friends to cancer at 23. She was told she'd beaten it and then it came back in other parts of her body and she was given 6 months. I don't get why life has to be so unfair sometimes :(

Wow 23, that's too young. Too damn young. So sad to think she had her whole life ahead of her.

I'm so sorry, Jenna. Cancer sucks, and losing a friend to it sucks even more. I'll keep you and your friend in my thoughts. If you need to talk, you know where you can find me. *hugs*

Thanks Missy. I'll let you know if I need to talk. Yeh I think between MerDer FC, LJ, FB, E-mail, and twitter I might be able to just fine you :)

I've turned my cell off, it's been ringing off the hook. I just don't really feel like talking to anyone. I have my bottle of wine and am just in my own little world tonight.

I know I should probably be talking to our other friends but I don't feel like breaking down right now. I'm sure that'll come in the next day or so and the tears won't be able to stop once they start.

My husband has been really good about keeping the kids busy earlier for me.

I appreciate everything :)

Having alone time is okay. I know after my grandpa and cousin died, I didn't feel like talking to anyone for a while either. People will be there for you when you want to talk. And your TMD family too, of course. :) *hugs*

Aww thanks so much! It's really a great support system on LJ. I've truly made some amazing friends on here. Some I know a lot some just a little. But it doesn't matter, it still means the world to me :)

Jenna, I am so so sorry. I know that losing a close friend is not easy. My best friend's sister died last year. Boy was that hard to get through. :(
