The Duke - Gaelen Foley (Comments)

A few weeks ago I asked the members of romancenovels their opinion on Christine Feehan and many of them suggested I try a different author. I just selected my next "obsession" and wanted to let you all know who it was and what I thought of the first book (spoilers)...

Drumroll Please... )

Good luck for finding Foley's other series. There is only three and the first one was the toughest one to find (The Pirate Prince I believe it's called).

I had a friend in New Jersey find that one for me. It's good but no where near like the Knights.

Opinion on Feehan... She's an acquired taste. Now I can't get into her Dark / Carpathian series. Too much of them really bores me, and I get a little testy of the men's mentality in there. I can't read too many of the Dark or else I suffer from a massive headache.

Now her Drake Sister books are excellent!! And I really like her Ghostwalker books.

BTW, Jack's book was great! He was an enigma throughout the series... We heard about him from the characters but never met his person officially.

I was a little disappointed in Alex's book. It just didn't live up to what I was expecting.

BLAST! I'm going to have to resort to bribery then if the other series is hard to find.

I can't wait to read Jack's story though, he definately caught my attention.

The Pirate Prince was tough for me to find... but if you order offline, try half.com. You'll probably have a good chance at finding it there.

My friend ran across it new at a Borders near her area, and knew I needed it. Princess and Prince Charming well I got lucky. At a flea market they had buy five for three bucks or something like that. So I picked up Princess, Prince Charming, Lord of Fire, Ra Salvatore for the hubs and another. Then did a search on-line to learn Princess and Prince Charming were book two and three in one series and Lord of Fire in another series.
