Birthday Party for Melinda!
Sarah had baked Melinda a chocolate cake for her birthday; a delicious, moist, ooey-gooey chocolate cake, the kind that needs to be accompanied with a tall glass of cold milk. It was decorated with the words 'Happy Birthday, Mel!' and several white frosting flowers.
But what's a birthday cake without a little birthday party? Sarah let City friends of Melinda's know when the birthday girl was coming over, and hung up a few streamers and balloons in anticipation. There were also a couple of presents next to the cake, wrapped in shiny foil.
