It's a short trip from Harley's place to where Sarah and Doc Schreber live, and Rat's grateful for it. He doesn't leave until after dinner, and even then he's reluctant, but it seems like a good idea to go poke his head in and say hello. Schreber has a lot of trouble letting go of his paperwork but even he will admit he needs help. The more he does for the city the more it seems like needs to be done and the bureaucracy is starting to grow. Things were working well so far, with importing a garden into the Dark City. Daniel had found a place and did all the hard work, which was the mountain of paperwork. In the dark of the night, the soil was imported in from Harley's friend in Gotham. It was the finest soil around, which would provide plenty of stability for a future for the garden. Rat's gotten vague directions to Sarah and the Doc (and Thorn), John and Anna, Harley, Gibbs and Mel, but he's been pretty scarce in the days just before the funeral.
