Thanksgiving!
Back to her old self, Sarah is fully prepared to take on Thanksgiving dinner. As tradition, she invited John, Anna, Cornelius, and Melinda over. Markus, Harley and April were also invited, of course. After an emotional reunion with Tom, she made sure to invite him. She wanted everyone to see that he'd changed, and was the brother she remembered.
She also invited Irma. She knew it would likely cause some tension with Mel, and possibly Tom, but Irma needed to learn that there were people out there who cared about her. And if that meant some awkward silences and grumbling over the mashed potatoes, so be it.
The turkey was nearly done. Sarah worked on finishing all the side dishes, relying on Thorn for help. Daniel wanted to help, too, so she put him in charge of setting the table in the living room. Two people in the kitchen was enough, and despite Daniel's skills at eggs and sandwiches, Thorn made a better assistant. (He also kept the pets out of the kitchen.)
