in other news...i applied for another job in the ministry of magic (actually...a sub-library in the department of mysteries, but it's in a different location), and didn't get it.  i'm a little sad, but not surprised.  the good thing was that the comments

remember that time barney was like, the best guy ever, and when she whispered in his ear, and i thought that she was asking him to sleep with her, but it turned out that they were just going to watch the video, and then ended up making out instead?????

so so amazing.

yeah - job. meh. whatevs. there might be an opening again in a year or so, and then i'll have lots more experience.
