I understand that having a building named "Hinulugang Taktak" would be a bit odd pero sayang, walang "Pagsanjan" or "Ma. Christina". Maganda naman yung names and that would be more nationalistic. Just saying.

I wholeheartedly agree! Sick and tired of our foreign-sounding condos, villages and towns.

Actually, ok lang yung Power Plant kasi that area used to be a power plant. So there's history there. Naming buildings, condos, villages Hidalgo, Maganda, Bulaklak, Arayat, Banahaw, etc is a better idea. Mas madali pang I-pronounce ng Pinoy na dila!

One time I asked a cab driver to bring me to Forbeswood Heights. Di niya alam where so after many instructions, we get there and he said, "Ah, sa Poreshood High pala kayo, ma'am. Dami niyo pa sinabi!"

once when i was a news reporter, my base called and wanted to know our location. i wasn't familiar with metro manila locations yet. so i asked our cameraman where we were exactly. he said Silver Bell. so i went on abscbn internal radio and said we were in Silver Bell. they were wracking their brains trying to find us. turns out we were in Xavierville. LOL

I'm glad to see that the river banks are being converted to prime property. Have been wondering why here, the riverside is populated by informal settlers and factories. In other countries, the river banks are fought over! Take the River Thames, for example. Throughout its meandering course, it's lined by expensive apartments, tourist spots, museums and offices.

I'm excited to see that happen with the Pasig! There's already the parks at Marikina and Rockwell Center. And there's Malacanang Palace, too!

But then again.. this is still beside Pasig River.. I wouldn't want to live there and see another Ondoy destroy it in one day. Just thinking about it now... oh noes...

The new bridge provides a quicker access to Rockwell which is awesome. It can get a little congested at times but not as bad as in Makati Ave.

I'm not sure if my experience was an isolated case but I've had bad experience with Century. I bought a unit in SOMA in the Fort and we had so many problems ( ... )
