Poetry final is in 3 hours. I need to do well on this. I can't fuck this one up like the midterm...

Film essay due in 14 hours. I can't fuck that up either. These classes are borderlining for B or C. I really want to get a B in one of these. Preferrably poetry, so I don't have to take extra classes as punishment...

Well, in about 8 hours my poetry portfolio is due. This is a collection of works I did throughout the quarter, revised or not. It's 40% of my grade, and I'm hoping to hell I can improve the scores of some of these earlier works. Got back from Anaheim yesterday. I split a PCQ finish with Teen Titans on Friday and won 125 bucks, which was nice. I finished 40th out of 232 people in the 10k, which is not nice, since I didn't get into day 2 (cuts off to top 24) and therefore didn't win any money. Over the past 5 weeks, one of my cats, Willie, our black cat runt of the litter, started feeling ill. We could tell something was wrong simply because she, unlike how she almost always is normally, was lethargic. This was so odd, since she has a meow that sounds about as nice as an out of tune violin, and she's usually always wanting attention. ( Read more... )
