It's official, Mom's got endometrial cancer. The operation is scheduled for June 8th and this time she'll be staying at the hospital for at least 4 days. Meanwhile, I cannot help but feeling...disoriented. I've never handled a situation like this before, as none of my relatives have ever had any serious diseases, and I don't have the faintest idea

I'm so sorry to hear this :( I hope the operation goes well and your mom recovers quickly from it! And don't worry too much about how you should act, dear. It's a difficult situation for everyone to be in and I'm sure your mom will appreciate any form of support - even if it is a silent one at times.
