It's official, Mom's got endometrial cancer. The operation is scheduled for June 8th and this time she'll be staying at the hospital for at least 4 days. Meanwhile, I cannot help but feeling...disoriented. I've never handled a situation like this before, as none of my relatives have ever had any serious diseases, and I don't have the faintest idea of what to do to show her my support. I'm afraid that because of my deflections and abrupt silences I might be regarded as cold-hearted,when deep inside I'm concerned (in my own special way)...
