1. PROMETHEUS UNBOUND: Damian Kindler created TWO new female characters in this episode (although I'm not really sure about Jup) which shows our studious, scholarly, mild-manned Daniel, reacting to brainy, socially awkward, goofy Lindsay Novak. They'd be perfect for each other, right? They have a shy, sweet, tentative chemistry together. Then brash, physically aggressive Vala shows up and brings out the alpha male inside Daniel. Vala pushes his boundaries, and amazingly, IT TURNS HIM ON LEIK WHOAH. Their chemistry is explosive. He ain't even mad at the end of the episode when she foils her captors ( ... )

I loved them from the very beginning. I never really liked any of the other women with Daniel (yes, that includes Sha're), but Vala and Daniel make me squee with happiness!

I love Shau'ri from the 1994 movie so so so much., and I 'ship Daniel/Sha're, too. I can even see Daniel with Janet, Sarah, Elizabeth and even Sam on occasion, as far as het relationships go, and obviously with Jack (BroTP <3), Cam, Rodney, Teal'c or Davis for slash.

But Daniel/Vala = my One True Pairing, meaning that I'll ALWAYS 'ship them.
