I've never really been able get into to it but I think you would like it. I don't mean that as a slam against you at all, see my mom likes it a lot, and I watch with her sometimes, it's greatly improved since it began and it has that kind of OTP thing going on with the leads that I think you would appreciate more than me. I get annoyed with that a lot, I really am not that much of a shipper. I care about the relationships as a whole, and I don't even really believe in the whole concept of OTP. so a show that has the whole "will they or won't they thing" as a huge part of its dynamic generally bugs me.
DB is great in the role, btw, he is so much more loose than he ever was in Angel or BTVS and I loved him in both of those series but it's nice to seem him in a non-brooding role.
yeah I'm not like that at all! with the exception of stuff like kdramas and jdramas where that's what the show is entirely built around, it bugs me when so much of a series is taken up by one OTP! for example I hated Logan/Veronica by the middle of S2 so I really hated how much of the focus of that series became about them or about who V was dating. I cared much more about the overarching mystery whether it was when they were doing season long arcs,mini-arcs or the stand alone episodes in the last part of the final season.
I was at my mom's earlier and we watched an old Bones that aired tonight- it was the first season's Christmas episode(I think anyway, I'm pretty sure it was the first season but I am not positive) and Booth and Brennan do really have good chemistry and I do like a lot of the characters but aside from the whole focus on the leads possible romance thing, I just find it lacking as a procedural. I mean my favorite shows include The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street, DaVinci's Inquest, early NYPD Blue and back in the

Well, it is a procedural. So that could be boring to you. But it is relatively character driven procedural, Bones past issues, Boothe's issues about having been a sniper, the dating side story about two supporting characters and David B. HOT as Boothe and very charming

Wait even better, kiss/love scene compilation. I was never a huge fan of the series, but I always thought that as a couple they were ... impressive. At least compared to the couples I'm used to on a lot of US tv (well UC tv that isn't soap operas). Where you might have to wait 9 seasons for a kiss and a snuggle. Or be happy if you get like two love scenes in all of the show. Compared to that this is a feast.

LOL, the funny part is I can't even promise you that they are good. I feel like I have seen maybe only 10 episodes of the whole thing (and out of these a bunch of mindblowing Michael/Nikita ones). It's possible that I got lucky and all others suck from a relationship POV

It's probably my favourite American television show but I know that many people don't like it for a variety of reasons. I like the leads and I like the secondary characters :)

You should be hooked from there on out.
