Things have been weird. Not exactly bad, but weird. And I don't have my meditation book, which really bums me out. I can't relax. I can't be upbeat. I'm ready to get back into my normal routinue.
There are fewer and fewer people with whom I can have successful conversations. -

Gah. I am five pages away from being finished with the semester, but it feels like those five pages are never going to happen. I'm writing this crazy paper on Italo Calvino and Anthony Trollope, which is rather fun, but I've done so much writing lately that I can't really enjoy the process anymore.

Today I woke to what seemed a suffocating weight on my chest, and the conviction that I was the victim of a succubus, or maybe the imp of the perverse. No,no -- it was just my cat. I am now convinced by the vet's suggestion that she not be allowed to gain anymore weight.
