Grr. While I was in the hospital, I decided to try to do a rewrite on this story I had written part of several months, maybe a year, ago. Your situation makes me think of a story that I wrote a few years back. It was my first, and I hand wrote it in a notebook with the most obnoxious bright orange pen, I honestly don't know what I was thinking, there is even glitter, and I tried to go back and rewrite it

Ahah, I laughed at the obnoxious, sparkly orange pen. I admit, I have definitely done that with pens. I have this really cool pink-orange one that has such a pretty colour that I like to use quite a bit. Other than that and a few other exceptions, I stick mostly to black. It's so hard to find nice-writing pens with good ink flow or comfortable grips. Grr
